Golden Dawn Chandelier, 2012
Chihuly Illuminated is currently on view at Halcyon Gallery in London until November 2013.
The Sunset Red Persian Table is the central focus of this installation, which also includes the Golden Dawn Chandelier and the First Light Persian Wall.
Working within the interior architectural framework of the room, Chihuly’s artworks soften the sharp lines of the space with organic shapes and subtle tones. The sculptures emerge from the floor, the ceiling and walls. Utilizing color and light, the bright hues of the Sunset Red Persian Table and the subtle tones of the First Light Persian Wall, welcome guests into the environment.
