On January 29, Dale, Leslie, Team Chihuly and the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center celebrated the 50th annual Hutch Award winner, Alex Gordon.
The Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center hosts the Hutch Award Luncheon each year in Seattle to raise funds for early cancer detection research. A Major League Baseball player is chosen and as a celebration for 50 years, Chihuly created the Silvered Piccolo Venetian with Gold Coils for the honoree.
Marking the eighth year of a ten year commitment Chihuly has created artwork for recipients; he is honored to support this important cause to fight cancer.
